The rapid of economic growth and the increase in the number of people who continue to occur will cause the need for greater space. This condition can result in the changes of land use which can transform the open land into a built land. The changes of land use which increased has caused the decrease of the green open space and water catchment areas which will accelerate the flow surface (runoff) and trigger the floods. The analysis of flood hydrograph due to the changes of land use in retention pond area of Siti Khadijah Palembang will be done in this research. The purpose of this study is to find out the flood peak discharge due to the changes in land use in 2002 and 2013. The method used for manual calculation in this research is the rational method and SCS CN method, while for the simulation used the modeling program of HEC-HMS. The data used is the high and contour point data, rainfall data of the last 10 years, aerial photographs and landsite images. From the analysis, it was obtained from the flood hydrograph due to the changes in land use that the flood peak discharge in 5-year retum period by using rational method which for 2002 amounted to 20,731 m3/s and in 2013 amounted to 22,288 m3/s. Mcanwhile by using SCS CN method, in 2002 it was obtained that the peak discharge amounted to 29,334 m3/s and in 2013 amounted to 29,358 m3/s that occurred at 3:20. As for the simulation with HEC-HMS program it was obtained that the peak discharge in 2002 amounted to 25.1 m3 / s and in 2013 amounted to 25.6 m3 / s that occurred at 3:20. Based on the analysis performed, it was concluded that due to the changes in land use from 2002 to 2013 have affected the value of the flood peak discharge in retention pond area of Siti Khadijah Palembang.
