AKTIVITAS OVISIDA JAMUR ENDOFIT ASAL SUMATERA SELATAN YANG DIAPLIKASIKAN SECARA TOPIKAL PADA SPODOPTERA FRUGIPERDA
Spodoptera frugiperda (J.E. Smith) (Lepidoptera:Noctuidae) was a pest originated from America had spread in other countries. It caused losses until 60%. To control S. frugiperda, it could used entomopathogenic fungi which could infected insects. This study aimed to determined the pathogenicity of entomopathogenic fungi isolated from South Sumatra from maize root soil which used liquid media culture against S. frugiperda larvae. This study was held at Entomology Laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases Departement, Plant Protection Study Program, Agriculture Faculty of Sriwijaya University from July to November 2022. This study carried out Randomized Group Design (RGD) with 14 treatements which were repeated 3 times and observed for 16 days. The results showed that 5 isolates were proven to be entomopathogenic, namely JaSpkPGA (2), JgPWSR, CaCjPga, JgTgSr, and JgByU.
