Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a serious health problem in children with mortality and morbidity rates increasing every year. Patients with CKD often have traditional risk factors such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, and uremia-related risk factors such as anaemia, volume overload, hyperhomocysteinemia, hyperparathyroidism, hypoalbuminemia, inflammation, and left ventricular hypertrophy. Both of these factors are risk factors for cardiovascular disease, which explains the fact that cardiovascular complications are the most common complications found in CKD patients, even being the most common cause of death. This study aims to determine the relationship between the degree of CKD and cardiovascular abnormalities in children at Dr Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang. This type of research is an analytic observational study with a cross- sectional design. The relationship between the two variables will be tested with the chi square test. The total sample obtained was 78 patients consisting of 52 patients (66.7%) male and 26 patients (33.3%) female. A total of 7 patients (9%) aged 0-4 years, 15 patients (19.2%) aged 5-9 years, 28 patients (35.9%) aged 10-14 years and 28 patients (35.9%) aged 15-18 years. A total of 17 patients (21.8%) had CKD grade I, 2 patients (2.6%) grade II, 8 patients (10.3%) grade III, 3 patients (3.8%) grade IV and 48 patients (61.5%) grade V. A total of 30 patients (38.5%) had hypertension and 48 patients (61.5%) had normal blood pressure. A total of 21 patients (26.9%) had cardiovascular abnormalities with 14 patients (17.9%) pericardial Based on the results of this study there is an association of severe stage chronic kidney disease (G4-G5) with cardiovascular abnormalities in children (p=0.010; p
