Erosion is a serious problem in post-mining land if it is not controlled, because most of the post-mining land that has been reclaimed are still relatively unstable. Nevertheless, direct measurement of erosion in the field is certainly impractical on reclamation land. Based on these problems, this study aims to utilize remote sensing systems as an alternative in erosion measurement and mapping. This study focuses on measuring soil erosion rates and mapping erosion distribution for land management purposes of Tambang Air Laya PT Bukit Asam Tbk. The USLE model integrated with ArcGIS software is used to achieve the goal. Six parameters of USLE model: erosivity, erodibility, slope and slope length, crop management, and land conservation measures are used as input parameters to calculate the average of annual soil loss and identify erosion distributions in reclaimed land. The results of the erosion classification in reclaimed land show that very light class erosion has the largest percentage compared to other erosion classes, which is 81% with an area of 10 ha and an average erosion rate of 5.23 tons ha-1 year-1. The USLE factor that most influenced the magnitude of the erosion rate in this study was the presence of revegetation plants that acted as land cover factors and conservation action factors used.
