ISOLASI JAMUR DAN BAKTERI ENDOFIT DARI BATANG TANAMAN DUKU (Lansium domesticum) DAN ANTAGONISNYA TERHADAP PATOGEN Ceratocystis
Ceratocystis sp. is a pathogen that reported to cause wilt disease in Mangifera indica, Acacia mangium, and Lansium domesticum plants. Endophytes are microorganisms that live, diverse and develop in the organs of living plant tissue. Endophytic microorganisms have the potential to be phytopathogenic biological control agents and can be used as an efficient control alternative. The purpose of this study was to explore the diversity of fungal and bacterial endophytic antagonist microorganisms from duku plants stem and antagonists test of fungal endophytic isolates and bacteria from the duku plants stem in suppressing Ceratosystis that causes wilt in duku plantst. This research is expected to provide information about the diversity of types of endophytic microbes in duku plants stems and their potential in suppressing the Ceratocystis pathogen that causes wilt disease of duku plants. This research was conducted from June to November 2022. The survey was conducted in four districts in South Sumatra, namely Ogan Komering Ilir, Ogan Ilir, Musi Banyuasin, and Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Sampling was carried out using the purposive random sampling method. Isolation and antagonistic tests were carried out at the Phytopathology Laboratory, Agriculture faculty, Sriwijaya University. The study used a complete randomized design (RAL) with 3 replications. The results of this study show that bacteria and fungi from each district have different morphological characteristics. The inhibitory power of fungal isolates was the highest at 51% and the lowest at 33%. Meanwhile, The inhibitory power of endophytic bacteria was highest at 1.58 and the lowest isolate was 0.71.
