Mung bean (Vigna radiata L.) is the third most important legume crop in Indonesia. Considerable demand in every year, for food, feed, and industry, makes mung bean a strategic commodity. One of the efforts made to increase mung bean productivity is by improving cultivation techniques such as the use of superior varieties and liquid organic fertilizers. One of the raw materials for liquid organic fertilizer that can be used is fruit leftovers such as bananas, pineapples, and papayas. This study aimed to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer from various fruit leftovers at the concentration of 100 ml/liter of water on the growth and yield of mung bean plants. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 8 treatments in 4 replications and 4 plants per treatment unit. The results showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer of various fruit leftovers had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height 8 wap, number of petioles 6 wap, and 11 wap, number of leaves 6 wap and 11 wap, leaf greenness level 2 wap, 3 wap, 4 wap, 5 wap, and 8 wap, crown area 3 wap, and 7 wap, number of pods per plant, weight of pods per plant, average total number of seeds per plant, average total weight of seeds oer plant, and weight of 100 seeds. The treatment of liquid organic fertilizer of various fruit leftovers gives a relatively better effect than the control treatment (NPK Mutiara fertilizer) on the growth and yield of mung bean plants. The treatment of liquid organic fertilizer of pineapple fruit leftovers (P2) gave the best results on the parameters of the number of stalks of pods per plant, number of pods per plant, weight of pods per plant, average total number of seeds per plant, average weight of seeds per plant, and weight of 100 seeds, and was also able to increase the size and weight of mung bean seeds of the Vima-3 variety.
