RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL CABAI RAWIT (Capsicum frutescens L.) VARIETAS BARAYANG DI TUMPANGSARI DENGAN TANAMAN CHAYA (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius I.) PADA BERBAGAI CARA PEMUPUKAN
This study aims to determine the Growth Response And Yield of Cayenne Pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) Bara Varieties Intercropping with Chaya (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius I.) on Various Fertilization Methods. This research was carried out from July to November 2022 in Permata Baru Village, Aryamandala complex, North Indralaya, Ogan Ilir. The research design used was a split plot with 2 main plots and 4 subplots, each treatment was repeated as many as 3 tests and each unit contained 8 plants. The total number of plants used in this study was 192 plants. The main plot factor is the planting pattern, namely intercropping (T1) and monoculture (T2). The child factor is the fertilization method consisting of Bulk (P1), Broadcasting (P2), Spot placement (P3), and Spray (P4). The changes observed are plant height, number of leaves, SPAD value, flowering age, stem diameter, header diameter, leaf thickness, leaf area, number of branches, total fresh weight of fruit, total dry weight of fruit, fresh weight of plant and dry weight of plant.. The data obtained were analysis with a statistically using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) based on the Split Plot Design. Next, to see the differences between treatments, further tests were carried out using the smallest real difference test method (BNT) at the 5% test level. The results showed that the cultivation of chili plants of the Bara Variety monoculture planting pattern and intercropping pattern had no real effect on plant growth and yield. In the cultivation of cayenne pepper plants, coal varieties are concluded that planting patterns tend to be better using monoculture planting patterns against the parameters of number of leaves, SPAD value, crown diameter, leaf area, number of branches, total fresh weight of fruit, total dry weight of fruit, and fresh weight of the plant. The fertilization treatment is best done on the P3 (Spot placement) treatment compared to other treatments. Keywords : Cayenne Pepper, Chaya, Fertilization, Intercropping
