PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS STEM EDUCATION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA TERHADAP MASALAH BANJIR PADA TOPIK SIKLUS AIR DI SMP KELAS VII
The purpose aims to determine the effect of STEM education-based learning to improve students' critical thinking skills on the problem of flooding on the topic of the water cycle at SMP Negeri 1 Betung. This study used an experimental method with a Quasi-Experimental type with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample was students of class VII A as the experimental class and class VII B as the control class. The results showed that the Ngain score in the experimental class was higher with a value of 0,71 compared to the control class with a value of 0,65. The results of the analysis of hypothesis testing using the ANCOVA test obtained a significance value of 0,007 which means < 0,05 so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence between STEM Education-based learning to improve students' critical thinking skills on flood problems on the topic of the water cycle.
