PEMBERIAN SCAFFOLDING UNTUK ANAK USIA (5-6) TAHUN BIDANG KOGNITIF PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI KELURAHAN PAKU SENGKUNYIT OKU TIMUR
This study aims to describe the percentage of cognitive scaffolding carried out by parents in children aged (5-6) years related to the stages of scaffolding during the Covid-19 pandemic in Paku Sengkunyit OKU Timur village. The type of research used was descriptive quantitative with a research sample of 10 parents who had children aged (5-6) years in Paku Sengkunyit OKU Timur village. Observation data collection techniques using checklists to obtain accurate and structured information, complemented by documentation techniques to collect data in this study. Data analysis techniques use quantitative with percentage calculations. the details of each indicator provide assistance by demonstrating and explaining the child's task (modelling) with a percentage of 73%, providing assistance to children when they have difficulty completing their tasks with a percentage of 78%, indicators of letting children perform their tasks independently with a percentage of 79% or being in the SR category. For the highest category, namely the indicator of letting children perform their tasks independently with a percentage of 79% or being in the SR category, while the lowest is the indicator of providing assistance by demonstrating and explaining the child's task (modelling) with a percentage of 73% or being in the category of Frequent SR. The results of the overall study, namely 77% or in the SR category, can be concluded that the implementation of cognitive field scaffolding carried out by parents in children aged (5-6) years is related to the stages of giving scaffolding during the Covid-19 pandemic in Paku Sengkunyit OKU Timur village has been well implemented.
