The objectives of this research are : (1) To describe the pattern of farming and income of farmers affected by flooding in paddy fields at Rantau Durian II Village Lempuing Jaya District Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, (2) to calculate the amount of economic loss of farmers affected by flooding in paddy fields at Rantau Durian II Village Lempuing Jaya District Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, (3) to analysis farmers strategies in overcoming of economic loss of farmers affected by flooding in paddy fields at Rantau Durian II Village Lempuing Jaya District Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in the Rantau Durian II village Lempuing Jaya District Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This location selection is done purposively or intentionally. This research method uses a survey by distributing questionnaires and interviews. the Determination of the sample using a simple random sample with the consideration that the farmer is experiencing flooding problems in paddy fields. Village data and extension data are the sources of this research. To strengthen this research, journals and other sources as references for this research. From the results of this study it can be explained that: (1) Farmers' income before the flood was Rp. 10,415,097 and the income of farmers after the flood was Rp. 4,660,347. (2) The Farmers in Rantau Durian II Village suffered losses to their farming households due to floods in their paddy fields, this is because the income of farmers before the flood was higher than after the flood. It can be explained that the income decreased by Rp. 5,754,750. (3) Farmers' strategies in overcoming economic losses consist of active strategies, passive strategies, and network strategies with a total score of 11.58 which includes the medium criteria.
