This study aims to (1) Identifying the socio-economic conditions during the flood and what conditions led to flooding of paddy fields in Rantau Durian II Village, Lempuing Jaya District, Ogan Komering Ilir District. (2) Analyzing the factors that influence flooding in paddy fields in Rantau Durian II Village, Lempuing Jaya District, Ogan Komering Ilir District. (3) Knowing the conditions that most influence the occurrence of flooding in paddy fields in Rantau Durian II Village, Lempuing Jaya District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The results of this study show that (1) Conditions that occur during floods cause farmers to experience a decrease in terms of income, production, harvested area, and planting season to once a year. Types of inundation of B and D paddy fields in paddy fields, the lack of infrastructure, and the typology of rain-fed paddy fields make these paddy fields vulnerable to flooding. (2) The factors that cause flooding with the highest loading factor value are the protection factors against flooding by making efforts to minimize and deal with flooding. While the indicator that has the highest influence is the education level of farmers affecting floods in paddy fields, lack of knowledge about floods is the cause of floods that cannot be minimized and do not know how to deal with floods in paddy fields. (3) Based on the analysis that has been carried out, it is found that there is a significant influence of rainfall, humidity, temperature, depth of rice fields, and length of waterways on the frequency of flooding in paddy fields in Rantau Durian II Village, Lempuing Jaya District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency.
