PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN KOMBINASI ECENG GONDOK (Eichhornia crassipes) DAN KAYU APU (Pistia stratiotes) SEBAGAI AGEN FITOREMEDIASI LIMBAH CAIR TAHU SERTA SUMBANGANNYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA
This study aims to determine the effect of using a combination of water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) and apu wood (Pistia stratiotes) on reducing pollutant levels based on physical and chemical parameters of tofu liquid waste and to determine the changes of parameters based on variations in the length of dedication of water hyacinth and apu wood plants. The research method used is an experimental method with Completely Randomized consisting of six treatments and four designs. Treatments in the form of different comparisons of water hyacinth plants and apu wood consisted of P0 (0:0) as control, P1 (1:0), P2 (2:1), P3 (1:1), P4 (1:2), and P5 (0:1). The research data were analyzed using ANOVA test and further tests of BJND, BNT, and BNJ. The comparison of water hyacinth and apu wood 1:1 is P3 on the 7th day of plant exposure gave the best results for reducing tofu liquid waste pollutant levels with an average TSS of 39 mg/l, TDS 112.5 mg/l, temperature of 24.9°C, pH 7.58, and DO 7.42 mg/l. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the exposure of water hyacinth and apu wood as phytoremediation agents has an effect on reducing the physical and chemical parameters of tofu liquid waste. The results of this study are utilized in class X biology learning in Basic Competencies 3.11 and 4.11 on environmental changes, causes, and impacts on life.
