This study aims (1) To describe the risks faced by farmers in conducting rice farming on tidal land in Sri Menanti Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, (2) To analyze the level of technical risk and risk management values in conducting rice farming on tidal land in Sri Menanti Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, (3) Analyze how rice farmers perceive the risk of rice production on tidal land in Sri Menanti Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. Location determination is done purposively. Data collection was carried out in January 2023. The method used in this research was survey method. Sampling method using simple random sampling. The number of samples is 90 rice farmers. The data collected are primary data and secondary data. Data processing methods using descriptive analysis, quantitative and Likert scale. The results showed that (1) the various risks faced by tidal rice farmers in Sri Menanti Village were disturbance from pests, flooding and drought. However, the risks that affect rice farming are pests. While floods and droughts do not affect production yields due to tidal land types, (2) The technical risk level of rice farming due to climate change is CV 0.01, this value is categorized as low because when carrying out cultivation, farmers do not experience many problems, only pest problems and can be overcome farmer. The Risk Management Value (NMR) of tidal rice farming in Sri Menanti Village is 903 kg/ha, (3) Farmers' perceptions of production risk are good because they consider risks of rice farming such as weather changes, flooding and dryness, not affecting farming and pest attacks and diseases can be treated with insecticides and pesticides.
