PERAN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR MIGRATION (IOM) DALAM PENCEGAHAN TINDAK PIDANA PERDAGANGAN ORANG (TPPO) DI INDONESIA TAHUN 2013-2016.
This study was conducted aimed at knowing and analyzing the role of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in preventing and dealing with Trafficking in Persons (TPPO) in Indonesia in 2013-2016. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is one of the international organizations that plays a role in eradicating Human Trafficking or the Crime of Trafficking in Persons in Indonesia. The International Organization for Migration is an international organization dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. This research is supported by the theory put forward by Clive Archer about the three roles that international organizations have. The research method used by the author is descriptive qualitative method, which aims to describe the facts related to the problem examined in words. The data collected by researchers through literature studies, online data searches, books, news, and websites. The data used by the author in this study is secondary data obtained from the official website of IOM and the Bali Process working group. The results in the study show the role of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in preventing the crime of trafficking in persons (TPPO) in Indonesia by using three roles of international organizations, namely Instruments, Arenas, and Independent Actors.
