PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE TALKING STICK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PPKN DI SMP N 1 SUNGAI PINANG
This study aims to determine the effect of applying the talking stick type of cooperative learning model to increase student learning motivation in Civics subjects at SMP N 1 Sungai Pinang. This study used a quantitative approach in the form of a pre-experimental design type of one shot case study. The population in this study was all of class VIII with a total of 167 students, with a research sample of class VIII.4 totaling 33 students taken using a purposive sampling technique with criteria based on class having a low average report card score. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, Likert scale questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of this study it is known that the application of the talking stick type of cooperative learning model has an effect on increasing student motivation. This is proven based on the results of hypothesis testing using the one sample t-test with the help of SPSS version 22 obtained a significant value of 0.000
