PENGEMBANGAN UI/UX APLIKASI MOBILE IPUSNAS DENGAN METODE DESIGN THINKING
The National Library of Republic of Indonesia built a reading application media for education called iPusnas. In observing interface problems that exist in the iPusnas application, all reviews of the last 3 months data were scraped from Playstore platform with total 11 reviews discussing about UI/UX issues. The problems are related to uncomfortable display size, confusing UI, requests for UI/UX development to make it more attractive, and interface improvements with features that are more solutive and entertaining. By paying attention to user needs, the solution that can be implemented is to develop user interface using design thinking method. From empathy process to testing, taken 100 iPusnas’s users with the final result obtained that times needed to completed the task is 0,014 goal/sec with a completed success rate of 99,05% and the use of a user experience questionnaire (UEQ) on six scales: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation , novelty received an “excellent” category rating.
