The most prominent educational service in this SMP is the library. However, the information system running in the library still uses handwriting so that the data can easily be lost. Because of this, a library application is needed that can record and manage the borrowing and returning transactions of the book. The method of data collection is using interviews, literature studies and documentation. While the design method uses the waterfall method, as well as software built using the PHP and MYSQL programming languages. The desired research result from the development of this information system is to make it easier for students to borrow and return books and librarian transactions to make it easier and more comfortable in data processing so that the SMPN 1 Kayuagung library becomes more advanced compared to other junior high schools. The testing of this application uses blokbox testing.
