PENGARUH EDUKASI ROLE PLAY TENTANG PENGETAHUAN KESEHATAN GIGI DAN MULUT PADA ANAK USIA 10-11 TAHUN
Background: Based on Indonesian Primary Health Research (RISKESDAS) in 2018, 57,6% of Indonesians have dental and oral health problems. One of the causes is the lack of knowledge of dental and oral health. Improvement of dental and oral health knowledge can be done with dental and oral health education. This education should be given at an early stage, using media that can attract children's attention, such as through role play. Objective: To compare children’s knowledge about dental and oral health before and after being given education through role play method. Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest- posttest design. The subjects consisted of 70 children aged 10-11 years old from SDN 6 Palembang. Knowledge of dental and oral health before and after dental education were measured using questionnaire comprising 12 questions. Data analysis used in this studv are t-dependent and t-independent test.
