A film has an impact on a person's way of thinking, text and images which then work together to create a narrative and have a message to convey. The film Ketangen comes with the issue of the impact of environmental exploitation in Muntok City, West Bangka. The impact of environmental exploitation caused by tin mining presented in this study is very interesting to study by knowing how to represent the impact of environmental exploitation in this Ketagen film. The method used in this study is semiotic analysis which emphasizes the signs that appear on the screen. This study also uses a Sigmud Freud psychoanalytic approach which shows the personality of each character. The result of this research is the impact of exploitation occurs in the natural environment sector and the economic environment. The issue of the impact of environmental exploitation is packaged using problems in the lives of the characters.
