PERBANDINGAN USER EXPERIENCE FITUR TIKTOK SHOP DAN INSTAGRAM SHOPPING MENGGUNAKAN METODE USER EXPERIENCE QUESTIONNAIRE (UEQ)
The development of information technology has created various communication media used by humans, and one of them is social media. The impact of technological advancements has driven changes in the function of social media. Nowadays, social media is used for direct buying and selling through applications. Two social media platforms that have provided e-commerce features are Instagram with Instagram Shopping and TikTok with TikTok Shop. Both of these features have similar characteristics and business processes, making the competition increasingly fierce. This study aims to evaluate the user experience of TikTok Shop and Instagram Shopping using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), measuring the scales of attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. The comparative results of this study indicate that TikTok Shop receives a higher user experience score compared to Instagram Shopping across all aspects of user experience. Recommendations for improvement that can be given to Instagram Shopping include adopting more modern features and keeping up with current trends, such as live shopping features that offer opportunities for sellers to showcase their products in real-time.
