The act of terrorism conducted by a combatants has become an actual threat in the world. The notion that became a symbol of upheaval in its development made women as active perpetrators of terrorism. The various roles which can be played in their participation in a combatant is often unpredictable make opportunities to this gender as a terrorist more widespread and difficult to handle. The role of women in a combatant certainly has a variety of motivations. So, the purpose of this study was to analyze the motivation of female perpetrators in the terror group Liberation Tigers Of Tamil Eelam. The method used is a qualitative method using library research data collection techniques. The theory used in this research is Social Identity theory Jackson and Smith ( 1999 ). From the research that has been done, it is found that motivation has an important role as a driver for women doing an act of terrorism, the types of motivation arise include sexual violence, suffering and oppression, disturbances and restrictions in the field of education and the emancipation of Tamil women.
