PERAN NPC (NUSANTARA PALESTINE CENTER) DALAM AKSI KEMANUSIAAN DI PALESTINE TAHUN 2018-2021
This study is a study that discusses the role of an NGO (Non-Government Organization) from Indonesia, namely the Nusantara Palestine Center (NPC) in humanitarian action in Palestine in 2018-2021. Focusing on the humanitarian crisis due to the long conflict between Palestine and Israel, the situation was exacerbated by the blockade plus frequent aggression by Israel in the Palestinian territories. The Palestinian people need assistance to get out of the humanitarian crisis, therefore this study was conducted to explain how the role played by the NPC as a Non- Government Organization in its humanitarian action in Palestine. The concept used in this research is the concept of the role of NGO Non-Government Organization by David Lewis which consists of 3 roles, namely; Implementers, Catalysts, and Partners. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using literature studies and interviews. The results of the research conducted by researchers are the role of the NPC (Nusantara Palestine Center) in humanitarian action in Palestine in 2018-2021 in the form of a role as Implementers by mobilizing the goods and services of the Palestinian people through the 6 Pillars of the Program, namely; 1.) Food Pillar; 2.) Water and Sanitary Pillars; 3.) Pillar of Health; 4.) Pillar of Development and Renovation; 5.) Pillars of Education and Da'wah; 6.) Orphans pillar. Furthermore, the role of NPCs as Catalysts through the Empowerment and Training Program and finally the role of NPCs as Partners, namely NPCs that have created a network of cooperation both with parties within Palestine and with other humanitarian NGOs.
