PENGARUH IKLIM ORGANISASI TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA PEGAWAI DINAS KEPENDUDUKAN DAN PENCATATAN SIPIL KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19
ABSTRACT This research is entitled “The Influence of Organizational Climate on Work Motivation of Population and Civil Registration Service Employees of Ogan Ilir Regency during the Covid-19 Pandemic”. This research aims at observing the levels of organizational climate and work motivation of employees at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Ogan Ilir Regency and finding out whether there was an influence between the organizational climate on employees’ work motivation and how much influence it had. The theories used in this research were the organizational climate theory developed by Pace and Faules. The method applied was explanatory quantitative method. The technique of the data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 55 respondents. The results of this research showed that the achievement level of the organizational climate variables and the work motivation of the Population and Civil Registration Office employees of Ogan Ilir Regency was at a high level. Further, there was a significant influence between the organizational climate on the work motivation of the Population and Civil Registration Office of Ogan Ilir Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic with a value of = 7.544 > then = 2.214. Based on the value of the coefficient of determination (R Square) obtained by 0.430, which means that the organizational climate contributed to work motivation by 43%. Meanwhile, the other 57% were influenced by other factors not examined in this research. Keywords: Organizational Climate, Work Motivation, Employees
