This research aims to determine the Diffusion of Innovations carried out in the application of the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system in Palembang City by the Traffic Directorate of the South Sumatra Regional Police. This study uses qualitative research methods using descriptive design. In this study, data collection was carried out using interview, observation, and documentation methods. Based on the results of the researcher's analysis obtained in the field, stated that there are 4 elements encountered in the Diffusion of Innovation theory by Everet M. Rogers including Innovation, Communication Channels, Timeframe, and Social Systems. This study also concluded that the implementation of the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system in Palembang City by the South Sumatra Regional Police Traffic Directorate had been carried out well by using the elements of Innovation, Timeframe, and Social Systems, but in communication channels it had not been carried out optimally.
