PENGARUH ISOLASI TERHADAP UMUR PEMAKAIAN DYE SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL (DSSC) PADA EKSTRAK TUMBUHAN BUNGUR (Lagerstroemis speciosa)
Dye sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) Is a third-generation cell that can produce an electric current that is influenced by the components that make up the DSSC circuit and has the advantage of not requiring a high cost. This study aims to treat isolation and non-isolation of DSSC Service Life, fill factor and efficiency in bungur plants using several treatments, namely Isolation, Non Isolation (1x), and Non Isolation (every day). Isolation used egg white media as an insulator and only gave iodine once before taking measurements, while non-isolation (1x) did not use egg white media, as did non-isolation treatment (every day), namely giving iodine every day when taking measurements. The dye used in the study was anthocyanin from crepe myrtle flower extract (BB) and chlorophyll from crepe myrtle leaf extract (DB). The research will be carried out at the Energy and Electrification Laboratory and Biosystems Laboratory, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. The implementation of the research was carried out from January 2023 to June 2023. This data processing used a descriptive method with several research stages, namely structure preparation, DSSC arrangement and assembly, and DSSC testing. Some of the parameters observed in this study are absorbance, current and voltage, power calculation, Fill Factor value calculation, efficiency, and the long service life of DSSC. The service life of the isolation treatment can last for 7 days; for the non-isolation treatment (1x), it only lasts for 2 days.
