PERSENTASE PENAMBAHAN PUPUK GUILLARD PADA KULTUR Porphyridium sp. DALAM MEDIA AIR LIMBAH BUDIDAYA IKAN GABUS
Snakehead fish farming produces waste that can cause pollution of the waters around the cultivation site. Wastewater from snakehead fish farming can be used for microalgae culture media. Porphyridium sp. is a microalgae that has the potential to be cultivated in waste media that contains nutrients for its growth. Currently, nutritional needs in the cultivation of Porphyridium sp. still use Guillard media which is relatively expensive. This study aims to determine the dose of Guillard media in snakehead fish farming liquid waste that produces the growth rate and maximum density of Porphyridium sp. which is maintained in snakehead fish farming wastewater. This study used a Complete Randomized Design using five treatments and three repeats. The treatments given were the difference in Guillard dosage in Porphyridium sp. consisting of 0% (P0) without Guillard media, 25% (P1), 50% (P2), 75% (P3), 100% (P4). The results showed that different doses of Guillard had a significant effect on the density of Porphyridium sp., daily growth rate, reduction value of NH3. Giving a dose of Guillard 75% (P3) is the best dose seen from the results of studies that get the highest density, daily growth rate and NH3 reduction value compared to other treatments.
