This study focuses and aims to discuss how strict parenting styles are described and how they impact on the formation of ethics, character and relationships for FISIP students at Sriwijaya University, Palembang Campus who receive strict parenting styles. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The theory used in this study was from B.F Skinner, namely Behavioral Theory. The results of this study explain that there are several descriptions of strict parenting. including strict rules that apply to children, sanctions for violations, and also communication that exists between parents and children. While the impact on the formation of ethics is that children become less polite and less able to respect others. In character building, namely, children become less confident, emotionally unstable, shy and also often lie. Finally, the impact on association is that children find it difficult to adapt to a new environment and have few friends.
