This study aims to explain the role of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in addressing international crimes in the Central African Republic in the 2012-2014 cases. The ethnic conflict between two religious groups in the Central African Republic has led the country into a long humanitarian crisis, prompting the country to seek assistance from the ICC as an organization established to prosecute international crimes. This research uses the concept of an international organization as a basis for thinking. The research method used is descriptive qualitative where the author describes the phenomenon by narrating the situation and conditions that occur and confirming them with existing theories. The data sources used are secondary data obtained from various existing sources. The results of the study show that the ICC has performed its role quite well in accordance with the three criteria of the international organization's role, namely instrument, where the ICC is a tool for connecting the national interests of the Central African Republic and carrying out the necessary legal efforts for the perpetrators; as an arena, where the ICC becomes a place to gather and collaborate, as well as to form a discussion forum to discuss and review crimes; and as an actor, where the ICC provides supporting policies for the Central African Republic. This success is marked by the prosecution of 4 out of 5 perpetrators who orchestrated the humanitarian crisis in the Central African Republic from 2012 to 2014.
