This research was conducted to discuss the communication patterns of the internal organization of the intelligence field of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office in following up on demonstrations. This study aims to find and find out what communication patterns are applied and occur in the intelligence field of the South Sumatra high prosecutor's office in following up on demonstrations based on five models, namely the wheel model, chain model, circle model, Y model, and star model using Jalaluddin Rakhmat's Communication Pattern theory to analyze the five models. This research uses descriptive qualitative research and uses data collection methods through in-depth interviews that refer to interview guidelines, observation, and documentation. The benefit obtained by the intelligence field of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office is to know the communication patterns that occur in the institution so that it can carry out a better communication process for leaders and members in the intelligence field, and also to maintain trust and a good image in the eyes of the public. The results of this study found a wheel communication pattern which means that the leader in the intelligence field is the focus of attention and supervision is centered on the leader, so that all decisions and subsequent follow-up will be determined by the leader, while members will follow the instructions and directions given by the leader Keywords: Communication, communication patterns, organizational communication.
