PERBEDAAN PENGARUH MEDIA EDUKASI DOFORMI DAN VIDEO TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTRI TENTANG TABLET TAMBAH DARAH DALAM PENCEGAHAN ANEMIA
Young women are high risk for anemia due to significant iron loss during their menstrual cycle every month. The Anemia experienced by them will have a negative impact on decreasing concentration in learning which will continue during pregnancy later. The Indonesian government built a program to reduce the prevalence of anemia by intensifying the administration of blood-added tablets. One of the efforts to increase young women knowledge about blood-added tablets in preventing anemia is to provide health education using DOFORMI educational media and videos. This research is intended to find out the difference in the effect of DOFORMI educational media and videos on young women knowledge about blood-added tablets in preventing anemia. The research design used quasiexperimental with a planned two-group pretest-posttest design. The number of samples in this study was 36 young women, who were divided into 2 groups consisting of grade 10 and 11 students of SMA N 3 Prabumulih by means of stratified random sampling. The statistical analysis performed used paired t-test shows that there is a significant difference in the knowledge of young women before and after receiving health education in both groups (p value of 0,000). Test results independent t-test showing there is no significant difference in the effect of DOFORMI educational media and video on young women knowledge of bloodadded tablets in preventing anemia(p value 0,239). DOFORMI educational media and videos can be used as health education media that can increase young women knowledge about blood-added tablets for preventinganemia.
