The sport system at the local government level has a great responsibility in managing and developing sport in its region. To achieve effective and efficient management, collaborative governance has become an increasingly recognized and applied approach. This research aims to analyze the application of collaborative governance in the sports system at the local government level, with a focus on taekwondo sports in Ogan Ilir Regency. Collaborative governance is an approach that involves the active participation of various stakeholders in decision making and program implementation. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The main respondents were relevant officials, taekwondo coaches, taekwondo athletes, entrepreneurs, and representatives of local sports organizations. The results showed that collaborative governance has successfully increased in the sports system at the local government level of Ogan Ilir Regency. There is good cooperation between the local government, the district sports committee, the local taekwondo club, and taekwondo athletes and coaches. This collaboration is reflected in the process of making joint decisions regarding budget allocations for the development of taekwondo athletes and the provision of adequate sports facilities.
