KOMUNIKASI ORGANISASI OMBUDSMAN RI PERWAKILAN SUMATERA SELATAN
This research about “Organizational Communication of Ombudsman RI Perwakilan Sumatera Selatan”. With a history of more than 21 years supervising the administration of public services in the Republic of Indonesia, of course the Ombudsman has received and resolved numerous reports of complaints regarding public services and maladministration. The duties and obligations of the South Sumatra Representative of the Republic of Indonesia Ombudsman are jointly completed by several assistants. Asistants members do have the responsibility of completing the main tasks, but sometimes suddenly they are also burdened with additional tasks in the form of carrying out public relations roles and functions related to managing social media. In the end, the additional workload interferes and hinders the completion time of the main task. This research uses Dov Te`Eni's Organizational Communication Theory et al (2001) in which Dov Te`Eni states that tasks become communication inputs to the communication process which ultimately have an impact (communication impact) on mutual understanding relationships. This research aims to find out how the communication process of the 2 Ombudsman RI Perwakilan Sumatera Selatan uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data obtained came from observations and in-depth interviews with key internal organizational informants and supporting informants from external organizations (Stakeholder of Ombudsman RI Perwakilan Sumatera Selatan). The results of this research indicate that the organizational communication process for Ombudsman RI Perwakilan Sumatera Selatan is rigid and task-oriented, task completion and assistantship roles are regulated in Undang- Undang and Activity Operational Guidelines (POK), the communication flow begins with the existing organizational structure, and communication duties tend to prioritize work professionalism.
