KANDUNGAN TIMBAL PADA TANAH SAWAH DAN TANAMAN PADI DI DESA MARGA CINTA, BELITANG MADANG RAYA, OGAN KOMERING ULU TIMUR
One of the factors of soil pollution is waste containing heavy metals. Lead is an element that is not essential for plants, its content ranges from 0.1 - 10 ppm and its content in plants for various species normally ranges from 0.5 - 3.00 ppm. Lead accumulates in body tissues and can cause poisoning in humans, animals and plants if it exceeds the tolerance limit. This study aims to determine the content of the heavy metal Lead (Pb) in soil and rice plants and some of the chemical properties of the soil in the rice fields of Marga Cinta Village, Belitang Madang Raya District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The rice fields studied were 96 hectares in area. Determination of soil sampling points was divided into 6 locations which were carried out by random sampling. Each location had 5 soil drilling points which were then composited. Soil sampling was carried out by drilling the soil at a depth of 0-30 cm. The results of analysis of the content of Lead (Pb) in paddy soil on average 10.56 mg kg-1 is still below the threshold of 12.75 mg kg-1, the content of Lead (Pb) in rice plants is below the detection limit of the tool, namely with a value of
