REKOMENDASI PEMUPUKAN N, P, K TANAMAN PADI DI SESA MARGA CINTA, KECAMATAN BELITANG MADANG RAYA, KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ULU TIMUR
Intensive land processing such as inundation of rice fields and the use of large-scale chemical fertilizers for a long time will experience production slowdowns or levelling off. For this reason, it is necessary to know the fertility of the soil to streamline fertilization. Site-specific balanced fertilization is obtained from soil test results that represent the chemical properties of the soil. This study aims to analyze the fertility level of paddy fields and determine recommendations for N, P, K fertilizers for rice plants based on soil fertility in Marga Cinta Village, BK 11, Belitang Madang Raya District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra Province. The research was conducted from August to October 2022. The method used in this study was random sampling with sampling as many as 6 samples where each sample was carried out 5 times drilling at a depth of 0-30 cm and then composted. Soil samples were taken when the rice was 60 HST with the Inpari 32 variety. This research consists of four stages, namely activities before in the field, activities in the field, soil analysis carried out at the Laboratory of Chemistry, Biology, and Soil Fertility, Department of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, then the presentation and preparation of research which is outlined in table form based on LPT (1984) for the category of soil chemical properties and PPT (1995) for the category of soil fertility. Recommendations for N, P, K fertilizers are obtained from the results of soil analysis converted in the urea, SP-36, and KCl fertilizer calculation formulas. The fertility yield of paddy soil at the study site was relatively low with an average pH yield of 5.32, C-organic of 0.67%, CEC of 9.85 cmol kg-1, Base Saturation of 21.05%, N-total of 0.10%, P-available of 1.87 mg kg-1, and Pottasium exchange of 0.10 cmol kg-1. The fertilization recommendations obtained are urea fertilizer ranging from 151.70 – 220.88 kg ha-1 or with an average of 199.89 kg ha-1, SP-36 fertilizer ranging from 110.14 – 167.80 kg ha-1 or with an average of 147.91 kg ha-1, and KCl fertilizer ranging from 20.08 – 30.12 kg ha-1 or with an average of 28.45 kg ha-1. Keyword: Fertilizer, Intensive rice fields, Soil fertility.
