This study aims to determine the performance of the Implementation of the Data Verification and Validation Policy for Recipients of the National Health Insurance Contribution Assistance at the Social Service of Palembang City in 2021. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Sources of data in this study came from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, documentation and observation. This study uses the theory of policy implementation of Donald Van Meter and Carl Van Horn. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the data verification and validation policy of the National Health Insurance Contribution Assistance Beneficiary at the Social Service of Palembang City in 2021 has gone quite well, but its implementation has not been carried out optimally, especially in data verification, resources and external communication. This is because there is no direct data verification in the field, so that the recipients of contribution assistance are still not fully targeted. Then, the human resources, budget resources, and facilities and infrastructure resources are not yet maximized in the implementation of this policy. Also, there has been no socialization to the public about the deactivation of the Healthy Indonesia Card. The results of this research recommend that further research be carried out using a quantitative approach and a larger number of informants, and can use more complex theories in order to obtain more accurate research results in explaining the actual situation in the process of implementing of the data verification and validation policy for Recipients of the National Health Insurance Contribution Assistance.
