EFEKTIFITAS MEDIA SOSIAL INSTAGRAM @pesonasriwijaya SEBAGAI SARANA INFORMASI DAN PROMOSI PARIWISATA SUMATERA SELATAN
ABSTRACT Instagram social media is a type of communication media that is used and popular in this all-digital era. On Instagram social media, there is a lot of information that can be obtained, one of which is about tourism, referring to what has been planned by KEMENPAREKRAF/BAPAREKRAF in the 2020-2024 KEMENPAREKRAF/BAPAREKRAF strategic plan regarding "utilization of technology in supporting tourism marketing and the creative economy, with technology very supportive in facilitating the lives of Indonesian people in various ways, one of which is in the tourism sector. In this study, we discuss Instagram Pesonasriwijaya, which is the official Instagram account belonging to the South Sumatra government which is managed by the South Sumatra Culture and Tourism Office. The purpose of this study is "to find out how much the level of effectiveness of communication on social media Instagram @pesonasriwijaya as a medium of information and tourism promotion in South Sumatra. . This study refers to the AISAS model which has 5 dimensions (attention, interest, search, action, and share). The method used in this study was descriptive quantitative which was carried out on 100 respondents who were followers of Pesonasiwijaya Instagram. The results of this study obtained a total percentage of 87% in the Very Good category. Thus it can be concluded that the effectiveness of Instagram @pesonasriwijaya as a media for information and tourism promotion in South Sumatra is effective.
