SELF-DISCLOSURE QUEER MASYARAKAT PALEMBANG PADA APLIKASI KENCAN WALLA
This research discusses the self-disclosure of Queer public of Palembang on Walla’s application. Queer is a term for groups or individuals who do not determine their sexual preferences or gender, where in this study part of the Queer that the researchers take as the object of the study is the Gay, where they can not disclosure in the public, especially social media, because the behavior of Queer was a major prohibition from terms of social norms to religion. But in 2012 created an online dating app wich are called Walla, a container for gay people to open up freely and know their peers, until a relationship is formed. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods and aims to analyze self- disclosure to the stage of the formation of Queer relationships on the Walla’s. The researchers used the deep interview technique where, according to Arikunto, the researchers conducted a dialogue between the interviewer and the source to obtain the information provided for the data. This research data is obtained from 2 (two) sources that are loving couples, which represent the people of Palembang. This research data is obtained from 2 (two) sources who are lovers, who represent Palembang residents. That the two informants in this study conducted different Self-Disclosure, there were those who made disclosure by limiting it by not showing photos and real names, and there were also those who showed photos and real names with photo restrictions with faces that the informants hid.
