STRATEGI MANAJEMEN KRISIS EIGER DALAM KASUS YOUTUBER DUNIADIAN
Crisis management is essential for companies dealing with unforeseen events that can negatively impact their reputation and business. This research explores the crisis management strategy of PT. EIGER, a leading outdoor equipment company in Indonesia, in response to a crisis involving a well-known YouTube content creator, Duniadian. With a case study approach, data was collected through interviews with key personnel from PT. EIGER and Duniadian, as well as online sources. This study found that the crisis management strategy of PT. EIGER involves a comprehensive approach, including proactive actions such as crisis communication plans and monitoring social media channels and reactive actions such as publicly apologizing and offering compensation. This study also identified several challenges faced by PT. EIGER, including the speed and virality of social media, the need for transparency and authenticity in crisis communications, and the potential impact on brand reputation.
