COMPARISON OF THE EFFECT OF HEALTH EDUCATION WITH AUDIOVISUAL AND LEAFLET ON STUDENT KNOWLEDGE REGARDING SEXUAL VIOLENCE
Sexual violence is a serious problem facing the world as well as in Indonesia. Exposure to sexual violence profoundly affects brain structure and results in lifelong impairments in cognitive and emotional capacities, in addition to high-risk behavior and antisocial behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of health education about Sexual Violence on the knowledge of Sriwijaya University students. With a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design and probability sampling method with a stratified random sampling approach, this study used a quasi-experimental research design. The population in this study are all students from the 2019-2022 class on the Sriwijaya University campus. The sample size was 222 people consisting of 111 people as the audiovisual group, 111 people as the leaflet group. The data collection method was carried out by giving questionnaires through the stages of pretest, treatment and posttest.
