EFEKTIVITAS KOMUNIKATOR IKLAN POLITIK PARTAI SOLIDARITAS INDONESIA DI MEDIA MASSA PADA PEMILIH PEMULA (STUDI PADA MAHASISWA ILMU KOMUNIKASI UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA TAHUN AJARAN 2017 )
Each communicator has its own characteristics in conveying messages or information to the communicant. Behind that the communicant also has a different understanding and feedback on the message given by the communicator. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the message conveyed by Grace Nathalie who acts as a communicator in her political advertisements for the Indonesian Solidarity Party can be effective for communicants, in this case, Sriwijaya University communication science students in class 2017. The theory used in this reserch is The theory of dimensions of the communicator ethos from Hovland and Weiss which consists of credibility, attraction and power. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method in which this method aims to describe how effective the communicator is to the communicant. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the level of effectiveness of the communicator is in the Quite Effective category after a structured recapitulation is carried out.
