Background: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) Type 2 is hyperglycemia due to lower insulin secretion by the pancreas gland. Management of DM in the Hospital only focuses on medication and diet but for physical activity is still low. Physical activity that can be done in patients with type 2 DM is Progressive Muscle Relaxation (ROP). ROP is a relaxation technique that combines deep breathing exercises and stretching, contracting and relaxing muscles which is very easy and practical because the movements are easy and can be done anytime and anywhere. Purpose: To apply comprehensive nursing care, especially in patients with Diabetes Mellitus. Methods: Descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach in three patients managed. Results: There are 4 emerging nursing diagnoses which consist of 4 actual diagnoses. The three patients managed had blood sugar that was> 200 mg/dL (hyperglycemia). The intervention given to lower blood glucose levels is ROP which is carried out with 14 movements by tightening and relaxing the muscles which include the forehead muscles, eye muscles, jaw muscles, mouth muscles, back neck muscles, front neck muscles, hand muscles, lower hand muscles. back, arm muscles, shoulder muscles, back muscles, chest muscles, abdominal muscles, and leg muscles. After being given ROP therapy for 3 consecutive days with 2 sessions a day the duration of 15-20 minutes each session experienced a decrease in blood sugar levels in the three managed patients. Conclusion: Provision of progressive muscle relaxation therapy has an effect on reducing blood sugar levels in DM patients
