KOMUNIKASI DAN KETERBUKAAN INFORMASI PUBLIK DI RSUD SITI FATIMAH PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
Disclosure of public information is a means of optimizing public oversight of the administration of the state and other public bodies as well as everything that has an impact on the public interest as mandated in Law Number 14 of 2008. Siti Fatimah Hospital, South Sumatra Province, is a public body that has the obligation to convey information to the public as a form of accountability. This study uses the theory of excellence public relations model according to Grunig & Hunt (1984), namely press agentry, public information, two-way asymmetric, two-way symmetric. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in this research are interviews, documentation studies, observation. Validity using source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of communication and public information disclosure at Siti Fatimah Hospital in South Sumatra Province uses information media such as electronic media, print media, and mass media which are managed by the hospital's public relations department. The information uploaded by Siti Fatimah Hospital is in the form of services, facilities and health education as well as the 24-hour information service provided by the hospital. The communication used by the Siti Fatimah Hospital in South Sumatra Province is one-way and two-way communication in providing information to the public.
