Indonesia is a country that often experiences earthquakes. This happens because some areas of Indonesia are traversed by the Pacific Ring of Fire and also Indonesia is between three earth plates, namely the Pacific plate, the Eurasian plate and the Indo-Australian plate. So it is necessary to plan earthquake-resistant buildings in earthquake-prone areas. Columns are part of the frame structure of the building that occupies the most important part in the building structure. If a column is broken, then other related structures or even the entire structure of the building can collapse. Therefore, an analysis of the performance of a 10-storey building structure with variations in column dimensions was carried out in the Palembang, Muara Enim, and Pagar Alam areas. In this study, analysis was carried out using SAP2000. The structural response analyzed is in the form of basic shear forces, lateral deviations, and inter-floor deviations. While the resulting structural performance analysis is in the form of performance points and performance levels based on ATC-40. The results of the spectrum response analysis showed that the smallest basic shear force value was experienced by the PLG3 model of 3503.957 kN and the largest basic shear force was experienced by the PGA1 model structure of 5763.32274 kN. The largest lateral deviation (δi) in the X and Y directions occurs in the PGA3 model at 98.3948 mm and the smallest in the PLG1 model at 63.3965 mm. The results of nonlinear pushover analysis at the performance point condition stated that the largest displacement was found in the PGA1 model of 434.048 mm in the X and Y directions, and the smallest was found in the PLG3 model of 262.521 mm. Based on the results of displacement at performance points, it was found that all models in the Palembang area had an Immediate Occupancy (IO) performance level. While all models in the Muara Enim and Pagar Alam areas have a Damage Control (DC) performance level.
