The gender gap is a global issue that is still difficult to handle, occurs in various parts of the world, caused by various factors, one of which is social factors such as labeling. Labeling is a marking attached to gender, labeling gender is related to functions and roles. Labeling causes harm, especially for women. In this study the authors will examine the issue of gender inequality and efforts to reduce the number of gaps. The theory used in research on the issue of gender inequality is Social Movement to examine the movements carried out by the community in achieving justice. The method used by the author is qualitative where the data collection technique is through the method of literature. The results of this study show that Turkish civil society has succeeded in sparking the birth of a new engagement group into the G20 that focuses on gender issues. The establishment of the W20 has proven to have an impact on reducing the gender gap in the representation of four fields, namely education, political empowerment, economic participation, and health. Especially for the G20 countries themselves, gradually from year to year since the founding of the W20. Keyword: Gender gap, Türkiye, G20, W20
