The Land Cruiser BJ40 is known to experience various issues such as electrical problems, ignition system issues, worn-out suspension components, and a lack of maintenance. Furthermore, there is a shortage of skilled experts or mechanics who can repair these issues due to the limited availability of information and expertise. Therefore, a system is needed to assist users in diagnosing temporary issues in the Land Cruiser BJ40. This system utilizes the forward chaining method to search for a set of facts related to a specific symptom determined by the user as the input to the system. Additionally, it employs the Dempster-Shafer method to determine the confidence level based on the calculation of belief values using the density values of symptom weights specified by the user. The dataset used consists of 41 instances of vehicle issues and 64 instances of symptoms. Based on testing with 100 test instances, the system achieved a reasonably high accuracy of 96%.
