PEMANFAATAN VERMIKOMPOS DAN ZEOLIT PADA TANAH RAWA PASANG SURUT UNTUK PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN SORGUM MANIS (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench)
GUNAWAN YOGI SAPUTRA. Utilization of Vermikompos and Zeolite in Tidal Swamp Soil For The Growth and Production of Sweet Sorghum Plants (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench). (Guided by YAKUP and DEDIK BUDIANTA). This study aims to determine the use of vermicompost and zeolite in tidal swamp soil for growth and yield of sweet sorghum. This research has been completed at the Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University and soil analysis was carried out at the Laboratory of Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University from July to December 2021. The research method used a factorial randomized block design (RAKF). which consists of two factors, each of which has 4 levels of treatment. The first factor is vermicompost (V) which consists of (V0); 0 ton/ha (V1); 2.5 tons/ha (V2); 5 tons/ha (V3); 10 tons/ha. The second factor is zeolite (Z) consisting of (Z0); 0 ton/ha (Z1); 0.25 ton/ha (Z2); 0.5 ton/ha (Z3); 0.75 ton/ha. The results showed that the treatment dose of vermicompost 2.5 tons/ha (9 grams/polybag) and zeolite 0 tons/ha (0 grams/polybag) was the best treatment showing the highest yield of 1000 seeds with a yield of 95.1 grams per panicle. Keywords: Cultivation of sweet sorghum, tidal swamp land, vermikompos, zeolite
