ANALISIS KECEPATAN MOBILE ROBOT SEARCH AND RESCUE BERBASIS ANDROID
Indonesia is a country that is prone to natural disasters such as earthquakes due to its location in the Pacific Ring of Fire, an area with high volcanic and seismic activity. This research discusses the analysis of the speed of mobile robots in assisting search and rescue teams during post-earthquake disaster situations in Indonesia. The designed mobile robot is equipped with ESP 32 CAM, LM 35 DZ temperature sensor, and ESP 8266 module as an IoT module controlled by an android-based controller. The captured images using ESP 32 CAM are identified based on color (red, blue, yellow) using the openCV color detection program with Python programming language. Speed testing of the mobile robot was conducted on three different tracks: flat, uphill, and downhill, with a 30° slope angle and three surfaces: grass, soil, and rock. In determining the speed, parameters used were distance (s) and time (t), the analysis of the speed of the mobile robot shows that the average speed produced on each track has differences influenced by the surface of the track, battery capacity, DC motors, and types of wheels used.
