Sriwijaya University English Proficiency Test (USEPT) is an English language skills test at Sriwijaya University that all students of Sriwijaya University must take. Sriwijaya University students must meet the minimum score of the English language test in accordance with the minimum score of each department because this test is one of the graduation requirements for obtaining a bachelor's degree at Sriwijaya University. The USEPT participant registration system is built on a website that can be accessed online. Based on the results of interviews with IT USEPT, there has never been an evaluation or UI/UX design for the USEPT website. Therefore, based on user research of 30 Sriwijaya University students, several problems were found on the USEPT website. Design improvements are deemed necessary in order to improve a better user experience when accessing the USEPT website. The design recommendation design method uses the Lean UX method which consists of 4 stages namely, (Declare assumption, create an MVP, Run an Experiment, feedback and research). At the stage of declare assumption, researchers use the results from evaluating website usability using the WEBUSE Questionnaire. The results of this study are a design recommendation with the results of usability testing using the Single Ease Question getting an average value of > 5 (easy to use) and the results of the usability evaluation WEBUSE Questionnaire on the design recommendation design obtained an increase in the usability of the USEPT website, where in the COR category the level usability "excellent", NAL got usability level "good", UID got usability level "excellent", and PAE got usability level "excellent. This research can be used as a reference in developing the system later.
