ANALISIS LAJU INFILTRASI PADA BEBERAPA UMUR TANAMAN KARET DI PUSAT PENELITIAN KARET SEMBAWA
Infiltration is the process of entering or seeping water into the soil. The speed of infiltration rate in a soil is influenced by many factors. This study aims to determine the infiltration rate on land with 5 different rubber planting ages. This research was conducted from November 2022 to March 2023. The method used in this research was a survey method, and the determination of sample points was carried out by purposive sampling. Measurement of the infiltration rate in the field using a double ring infiltrometer then calculating the infiltration rate using the Horton method. In addition to data from the field, there is also data from laboratory analysis such as organic matter, bulk density, porosity and soil texture as supporting data. To determine the closeness between parameters and infiltration rate, correlation and regression tests were carried out. The results showed that rubber plantations aged 5 years had the lowest average infiltration rate of 4.37 cm hour-1 and 26 years old plantations had the fastest average infiltration rate of 6.42 cm hour-1. From the research results it is known that the infiltration rate increases with increasing age of the plant.
