PENGARUH KELENGKUNGAN SINGKAL YANG DILAPISI PLAT KUNINGAN PADA BERBAGAI KECEPATAN MAJU TERHADAP KEBUTUHAN ENERGI PENGOLAHAN TANAH ULTISOL
This research aims to determine and study the effect of short curvature coated with brass plates with various variations of forward speed on the processing of ultisol. The method used in this study was a randomized factorial block design (RFBD) with two tillage factors, namely the angle of curvature of the plough (A) coated with brass plate and forward speed (B). Where in each factor consists of three levels of tillage. For tillage at the angle of curvature which is coated brass plates using angles of curvature of A1 (120̊), A2 (130̊), and A3 (140̊). whereas in the tillage of the forward speed of the plow using a B1 (forward speed of 2 km/hour), B2 (forward speed of 3 km/hour), and B3 (forward speed of 4 km/hour). The results of the research angle of curvature and the forward speed of the plow had a significant effect on the yield of ultisol tillage and the energy consumption of tillage, with the combination of the short angle of curvature of 140ᵒ and a speed of 4 km/hour resulting in the lowest average soil adhesiveness of 79.00 g while the combination tillage angle of curvature of 120ᵒ and speed of 4 km/h resulted in the highest average forward depth of plough, ploughing height, plough cutting width, and energy consumption which were respectively 14.00 cm, 12.07 cm, 17.00 cm, and 205,205 kkal/ha.
